The word Aurum being chosen for its namesake as the latin and scientific term for gold. With the fiat currency backing the U.S. dollar, the gold standard is a thing of the past. Gold being a resource that was not available in quantities and value to meet the rising inflation and currency in circulation. However, gold, remains a treasured commodity by many for its long term investment particularly in times of inflation. Aurum Capital Experts focuses on strategies that support the long term safety and growth of wealth. Dr. Ashley Queen is a dynamic leader with a passion for inspiring and transforming the world around her. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Coppin State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology from Howard University, Dr. Queen’s educational background sets a strong foundation for her impactful career.
Her professional journey spans federal government, non-profit organizations, and academia, demonstrating her versatility and expertise. Dr. Queen has made significant contributions in public health and regulatory affairs, specializing in biologic drug application review, pathogen surveillance, health disparities, genome-wide association studies, OTC drug studies, and biological/business consulting.

Her dedication to public health and service, combined with her broad expertise and leadership, make her a compelling partner for those seeking to make a meaningful impact in their fields. With economic instability being a major social determinant of health, Dr. Queen found expanding her expertise into the financial industry was the next logical move in being a public health servant.
Service to the Society
While also serving as the President/CEO of Queen Consulting Group LLC, Dr. Queen combines her extensive experience with a commitment to excellence. She is also dedicated to mentoring emerging S.T.E.M professionals and advocating for underrepresented leaders through STEMPIRE Inc., a company she has co-founded.
Having associations with a network with current and former professional athletes, she recognized through partnership with some of her top leaders that there was a unique niche to fill in helping athletes navigate their options to protect and grow their wealth.
Not only does she serve her financial clients from all backgrounds leveraging a wealth of diverse experience, she also serves the community by educating them on finances. And further, building and developing leaders who can duplicate these strategies across their own associations.
